Really sorry about the late posts here. Life kind of grabbed me by the nut sack.
I got the WoW Trading Card Game. Its really good if you like that kind of thing. In the $45 I spent, I ended up getting the scratch card with the tabard. I wanted to recopy my character to have the tabard, but the new patch kind of axed that idea.
The new patch DOUBLES the amount of XP required to level. While I was 61.5 before, I became 61.25. Which really sucks. At least I have 1.5 levels of rested state. They fixed a number of character bugs, and changed the Rogue trees. I’m sure either WoW.com or World of Raids has those up.
Sorry I haven’t updated the site in the last week. I had to go to Canada for a family emergency. As such, I only played once all of last week.
I will be playing more this week and will have more updates for you.
I’ve seen some reports of crashes and poor performance from some ATI cards [x800, 9800, x1300]. Basically the 6.9 drivers are too new. If you have problems with an ATI card with Beta, install the 6.8 drivers. It might not work as well overall, but it won’t crash as much.
I got my first piece of uber quest loot this afternoon. Take a look. Not too shabby if you’re a Moonkin. I’m going to keep it for a spell dmg set.
Latest build of Beta came out yesterday morning. No patch notes are listed. Most of it that I have seen are just bug fixes. They implemented the new talent changes also, so thats nice.
I got to play a bit, and my character’s inventory got messed up pretty bad. I kept getting reset every time I logged in. I think the problems are over though. Crazy things that happen in Beta, eh? Heh.
A few of my friends got random beta invites. Hopefully I can hook up with some of them for some instance runs this weekend.

They have a nice comic over at Penny Arcade today, dealing with the Blood Elves. I got a chuckle out of it.
